Prime Care Physicians Selects Integrated NextGen Technology Platform

NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Quality Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: QSII), and leading provider of healthcare information systems and connectivity solutions, today announced it has executed an agreement with Prime Care Physicians, P.L.L.C. to deploy NextGen® EHR (Electronic Health Record) and NextGen® Practice Management. The Albany, N.Y.-based multi-specialty practice will implement the integrated platform across its enterprise, which consists of 104 providers that serve a geographic area from Kingston to Glens Falls, N.Y. Implementation is expected to be completed in 2010.

NextGen Healthcare’s NextGen EHR version 5.6 is a CCHIT Certified® 2011 Ambulatory EHR, additionally certified for Child Health and Cardiovascular Medicine with Advanced Reporting. NextGen Practice Management allows healthcare organizations with multiple locations to centralize appointment scheduling, billing, collections and other business processes.
