Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO), as an online media company and a search engine, has joined forces with Twitter. People will now be able to access their personal Twitter feeds across Yahoo!’s products, update their Twitter status and share content from Yahoo! Yahoo! Search and Yahoo! media properties will have real-time public Twitter updates. Shares of Yahoo! Traded in the range of 15.33 to 15.71, before closing up 0.21 cents of 1.37% at 15.59. YHOO sits at a 52 week-high at 18.02 from October 21, 2009.

Oilsands Quest Inc. (AMEX: BQI), was perhaps one of those companies that struggled the most today but still managed to finish the day in green territory. Shares of BQI were trading over a dollar in mind January and have since been steadily declining hitting the 0.90’s, 0.80’s and 0.70’s levels managing to close today up 0.02 cents or 2.99% at 0.69. However, BQI traded the day away in the range of 0.662 and 0.69, hitting on a new 52 week-low from the previous 0.63 level, on solid volume. No recent company announcements have been made. Both Liberty Analytics and Emerging Stock Report have initiated independent coverage of Oilsands Quest Inc. Oilsands Quest is exploring Canada’s largest contiguous oil sands land holdings.

Green Energy Live Inc. (OTCBB: GELV), traded in a tight range of 0.14 and 0.16, closing on gains of 5.63% or 0.001 cents at 0.015. Green Energy announced that it will be proceeding with its acquisition of Peck Electric Inc., through a Letter of Intent to acquire 100% of the stock in Peck Electric. Peck Electric provides electrical contracting services with revenues grossing $6 million last year. Green Energy is a clean energy company focused on developing sustainable biomass-to-energy conversion solutions for the U.S. livestock industry.

Lorus Therapeutics Inc. (TSX: LOR), prior to today and at least for the last 30 days shares of Lorus were strictly trading in the 0.065 to 0.075 mark. But today changed all that when the LOR surpassed its 52 week-high from September 2009 of 0.10 and closed the day up a staggering 91.67% or 0.055 cents at 0.115, reaching the day’s high of 0.125. Lorus announced a publication which demonstrated antitumor activity against several common tumor types through the efficacy of interleukin 17E. Lorus Therapeutics is a clinical stage drug developing company.

Allana Potash Corp. (TSXV: AAA), closed the day as the heaviest traded company on the TSX Venture, surging in volume and closing up 0.05 cents or 12.50% at 0.45, after trading the day between 0.41 and 0.47. Last news from Allana Potash was from earlier this month when it provided an updated on the exploration activities in Ethiopia which mainly included camp construction, road rehabilitation and mobilizing a diamond drill and support infrastructure for the planned 2,500 - 3,000 m drill program. Allana Potash focuses on the acquisition and development of international potash assets.
