Showa Denko to Establish Cooling Device Business Development Dept. in Aluminum Sector
March 17, 2010 6:30 AM
The new department, to be established on April 1, will be directly supervised by Executive Officer of the Aluminum Sector.
The new unit will be engaged in production, development and marketing of devices for cooling power electronics.
SDK has developed devices for cooling power electronics using its proprietary heat design and aluminum fabricating technologies. The product was adopted last year as parts for hybrid cars, and its demand is expected to grow for energy-conservation purposes.
With the establishment of the new department, SDK will accelerate the development of cooling devices with higher performance and increase efficiency through integration of development/production/marketing functions.
