(OTC: AVSR), a provider of desktop videoconferencing systems, said it has signed a hosted service provider distribution agreement with SoTel Systems, a wholesale supplier of business communications products and Session Initiation Protocol services.
According to Avistar, the deal will provide the Avistar C3 Communicator solution to the small- and medium-sized business marketplace as a hosted business-class desktop videoconferencing service.
California-based Avistar offers desktop videoconferencing technology. The company's solutions are used in various industries, with deployments ranging in size from 30-30,000 users.
The company works with channel partners and resellers including AVI-SPL, Fontel, Jenne, Media Plus, SCH/SCC and Sotel in more than 40 countries.
