Santarus, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNTS) climbed 8.23% to $5.35 after SNTS announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the Company`s New Drug Application (NDA) for immediate-release omeprazole/sodium bicarbonate/ magnesium hydroxide tablets in 40 mg and 20 mg dosage strengths of omeprazole. In the last six months, SEAC has risen by over 134%.

Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM) jumped 6.08% to $26.60 in the pre-market session after AKAM lifted its guidance for fourth-quarter adjusted earnings to a range of 42 cents to 43 cents a share, from a range of 39 cents to 41 cents a share. It also lifted its revenue forecast for the quarter to a range of $230 million to $235 million, from a range of $217 million to $224 million.

NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) moved up 10.87% to $15.81 in the pre-market session after NVDA landed orders for Ion 2-based chips designed to support Intel's upcoming (Pineview) Atom N450, N470, D510 or D410 CPUs and related (Tiger Point) chipsets from Acer, according to sources from PC makers.

Agrium Inc. (USA) (NYSE: AGU) rose 1.81% to $58.60 after UBS upgraded AGU to buy from neutral. So far this year, AGU is up over 68%.

McDermott International (NYSE: MDR) climbed 9.39% to $22.60 in the pre-market session after MDR said that it plans to separate its operating subsidiaries, Babcock & Wilcox Co. and J. Ray McDermott, into two independent, publicly traded companies.

SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ: SPWRA) increased 4.57% to $23.33. So far in 2009, SPWRA has declined by 40%.
