Versar, Inc. Awarded New $14.8m Task Order by The Us Army Corps of Engineers for Work in Afghanistan

SPRINGFIELD, VA / ACCESSWIRE / October 12, 2016 / Versar, Inc. (NYSE MKT: VSR) today announced that the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District (USACE-MED), issued a new task order valued at $14.8 million under the Company's existing services contract in Afghanistan. Under the new task order, the Company will continue providing support for Afghan engineering and technical staff and working with USACE personnel overseeing construction projects throughout Afghanistan.
