DICK'S Sporting Goods Announces Grand Opening Celebration in Yorktown Heights, NY

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- DICK'S Sporting Goods DKS, the largest U.S.-based, full-line omni-channel sporting goods retailer, will be opening its 40^th store in New York and 665^th store nationwide on Friday, October 14 at Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown Heights, NY (650 Lee Boulevard).

DICK'S three-day Grand Opening celebration will run through Sunday, October 16. The store will open at 8:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 9:00 a.m. Sunday. 

On Friday, the first 100 people in line will receive a free adidas Go-To Performance T-Shirt. Adults who are in line at 7:45 a.m. on Friday will get a chance to open the DICK'S Sporting Goods Gift Locker. ‡‡

Former New York pitcher John Wetteland** will make an in-store appearance from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15.

Saturday and Sunday giveaways include a free Mystery Gift Card for the first 100 adults in line. Adults who are in line at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday and 8:45 a.m. on Sunday will also get a chance to open the DICK'S Sporting Goods Gift Locker. ‡‡
