LITTLE ROCK, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Fifth paragraph, second sentence of quote should read: October 10 is the deadline to register to vote in November (sted October 11 is the deadline to register to vote in November).

The corrected release reads:

GOV2GO HELPS ARKANSANS GET READY TO VOTE

Add voting information to the list of government efficiencies
Gov2Go delivers in one convenient, citizen-centric access point

Just over a year ago, Arkansas became the first state in the nation to transform government by breaking down agency silos and delivering citizen-centric government interactions through a single digital personal assistant, Gov2Go. Today, more than 180,000 Arkansans have subscribed to Gov2Go to receive personalized, timely, and relevant notifications about their interactions with state government. Now Arkansans can add voter information to the list of notifications their digital personal assistant, Gov2Go, can provide.

The Arkansas Secretary of State's office, in partnership with the Information Network of Arkansas (INA), today released a new way for Arkansans to keep up with key dates and information for the November general election. By downloading Gov2Go, citizens can receive voting information personalized to their district through the digital personal assistant platform.

Gov2Go connects users to their voter registration record in the Secretary of State's Voter View database and makes it easy for Arkansans to:

  • View the voter registration deadline and information about registering to vote
  • Download a voter registration application
  • Request a voter registration application by mail
  • View early voting and general election dates and times
  • Get helpful email reminders for early voting and Election Day
  • Find out who's running and what issues are on their ballot
  • See where to vote on Election Day

September is National Voter Registration Month and the perfect time to give Arkansans another convenient way to access voter registration forms and personalized information about where to vote on Election Day.

"The need for public information and education on voter registration is extremely critical as Arkansas voters prepare to take part in the November general election," Arkansas Secretary of State and INA Board Chair Mark Martin said. "October 10 is the deadline to register to vote in November. We are pleased to offer Gov2Go as another resource to give Arkansans convenient digital access to voter registration forms, and reminders about early voting and the general election. We are hopeful that Gov2Go will increase awareness about state requirements and deadlines for voting, and encourage more qualified Arkansas voters to participate in the election."

In addition to the voter registration deadline and general election dates, Gov2Go provides personalized and timely information such as property assessment and tax payments, car tag renewals and business franchise tax, and sends users personalized reminders about these government services.

Every Arkansan can receive their own personalized government notifications through Gov2Go by visiting GetGov2Go.com to download the iOS and Android apps or entering an email address.
