ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Demand Management Inc., a leading global resource for cloud-based supply chain management solutions, announced today that it has been named one of the Top 100 Logistics IT Providers for 2016 by Inbound Logistics Magazine.

In creating this year's list, the editorial staff of Inbound Logistics carefully considered applications from more than 400 companies. Demand Management—maker of the widely used Demand Solutions supply chain planning suite, which can be deployed in the cloud or on-premises—emerged as one of just 100 honorees.

Each company's application included questionnaires, personal interviews, and written materials in which they described their contributions to the field of logistics. The magazine's editors specifically looked for vendors that make logistics and supply chain technologies a particular focus of their business, and which have amassed convincing customer success stories. The winners are listed in Inbound Logistics' April 2016 issue—which is the magazine's annual logistics technology issue—as well as on the magazine's website.

"We thank Inbound Logistics for naming Demand Management to its Top 100 Logistics IT Providers list for the sixth time," said Bill Harrison, president of Demand Management. "Being selected for such an exclusive list gives us reassurance that we are on the right track as we seek to help our customers shorten their lead times and increase predictability across their supply chains."

The 100 companies included on the list get more than a mention in an article—they will also be included in the Logistics IT Decision Support Tool. This tool lets companies enter their requirements into a website and then receive a list of logistics IT providers that are best suited to their needs.

"If you're in the market for logistics technology, log onto the Logistics IT Decision Support Tool today," says Harrison. "It will help take the mystery out of finding solutions that improve your scheduling and shorten your lead times. And if you'd like to achieve these goals while also tapping into the convenience and cost-effectiveness of the cloud, please consider what Demand Solutions has to offer."
