The Mosaic Company Foundation Gives $75,000 to Aid Disaster Relief in Louisiana

ST. JAMES PARISH, La., Sept. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Mosaic Company Foundation announced a $50,000 contribution to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and $25,000 to Capital Area United Way to support recovery efforts in the aftermath of the recent, historic flooding in southern Louisiana that claimed lives and caused significant damage to several communities.

Mosaic's contribution to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank will allow the organization to recover from the vast losses it experienced as a result of the devastating flooding so that it can reopen its doors as quickly as possible to continue to meet vital needs in the communities it serves.  Capital Area United Way will utilize the funding to assist neighbors in St. James and Ascension Parish with short-term and long-term relief and recovery, such as helping individuals maintain and rebuild their homes, lives, and health.
