Abercrombie & Fitch Co. ANF and the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) are excited to announce the winners of the 2016 A&F Diversity Champion Awards. Ten $2,500 scholarships have been awarded to students who demonstrate leadership and diversity in their schools and communities.

In 2007, Abercrombie & Fitch began partnering with NSHSS to support outstanding young people who are committed to promoting societal change. The 2016 A&F Diversity Champion Awards are given to high-achieving U.S. and international students who have proven themselves as champions for diversity and inclusion in their schools and communities. More than 200 applications were received, and 10 students were selected based on personal responses describing how they are working to support diversity and inclusion.

"Each year, I am humbled by the fortitude and compassion that NSHSS members show in their scholarship applications," said Claes Nobel, co-founder and chairman of NSHSS and senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes. "Abercrombie and Fitch is an honored partner in helping us recognize outstanding young people and supporting them in their pursuit of higher education."

"We are proud to award A&F diversity scholarships to students who advocate for diversity and inclusion in their schools and community," said Jeanetta Darno, Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion, Abercrombie & Fitch Co. "We are encouraged to see the dedication these teens have displayed and we are committed to supporting organizations who champion the movement to accomplishing equality and equity for all."
