Queensland First Australian Police Service to Deploy 2700 Axon Body Cameras on Evidence.com Cloud Solution

BRISBANE, Australia and SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., July 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Axon Public Safety Australia, a subsidiary of TASER International TASR and the global leader in digital evidence management solutions with the leading body-worn camera, today announced the purchase of 2200 Axon Flex cameras by the Queensland Police Service (QPS) in Australia. QPS, the third largest police agency in the country, also secured a three-year subscription to the Axon cloud solution, Evidence.com to help store, manage and share data from the body cameras and other digital evidence sources. QPS previously purchased 500 Axon cameras, which brings their total deployment to 2700 Axon cameras. The order was received in the third quarter of 2016 and is expected to ship in phases through the end of 2016.
