HCA HCA announced today that Kathryn Torres has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President, Employer and Payer Engagement. Torres joined HCA in 1993, and served most recently as Vice President of Employer and Payer Engagement.

A 25-year veteran of the healthcare business, Torres has a broad range of experience in the industry, having held previous management roles with health insurance companies and other institutional providers, in addition to her long history with HCA. She replaces Juan Vallarino. "Juan has been a colleague for nearly 20 years," said Hazen, "and we wish him well in the future."

Torres is married with three children. She holds a J.D. from the University of Arizona College Of Law.
