Verizon Renews Multi-Year License to Rovi's Market-Leading Entertainment Discovery Patent Portfolio

Rovi Corporation ROVI today announced that Verizon Communications Inc. has signed a multi-year patent license renewal that runs into the next decade.

With this agreement, Rovi now has eight of the top 10 U.S. pay-TV providers under license, with six of those having entered into new or renewal agreements in just the last six quarters.
