Drone USA, Inc. Announces Appointment of New Chief Technology Officer

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Drone USA, Inc. (OTC Markets: TWDLD) ("Drone USA" or the "Company"), a developer and manufacturer of low altitude Unmanned Aerial Vehicles ("UAV") and related technologies, today announced that Dr. Rodrigo Kuntz will join the Company as its Chief Technology Officer, effective, June 1st, 2016.

In the position as Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Kuntz will be responsible for assuring that the Company's technological road map is cohesively integrated with its business strategy, identifying opportunities and risks for the Company, managing Drone USA's research and development department, monitoring technological and social trends, participating in corporate governance, communicating the Company's technology plan to partners, management, and employees, and maintaining current information regarding technology standards and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations to which the Company is subject. Dr. Kuntz will report directly to the Company's Chief Executive Officer, Michael Bannon.

Dr. Kuntz comes to Drone USA with over 15 years of experience in aeronautical development and production, with a strong emphasis in autonomous systems. Since 2009, he has served as Chief Executive Office of BRVANT Technologic Solutions ("BRVANT"). BRVANT is a Brazilian-based developer and manufacturer of remotely piloted, unmanned systems for aerial, terrestrial, and fluvial applications, embedded systems and simulators for civil and military clients and as previously announced on June 1, 2016, has entered into a joint venture agreement with Drone USA.

In his role as Chief Executive Office of BRVANT, Dr. Kuntz oversaw the successful deployment and production of innovative autonomous systems for a number of domestic and international customers. Applications ranged from military and civil protection to commercial applications while performing aerial, terrestrial, and water-based missions.

Prior to joining BRVANT, Dr. Kuntz served as a Product Development Engineer from 2002 to 2009 at Embraer ERJ, a Brazilian aerospace conglomerate that is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and produces commercial, military, executive, and agricultural aircraft. Embraer delivers a variety of aeronautical services and while with Embraer, Dr. Kuntz was responsible for the development of electronic and software systems for military and civil aircraft.

Dr. Kuntz has a proven and robust academic background in Computers & Electronics Engineering, Robotics, Lasers, Virtual Reality and Aeronautical Systems, having obtained his Bachelors in Computer Engineering, and his Masters and Doctorate degrees from the prestigious Technological Institute of Aeronautics ("ITA") located in São José dos Campos, Brazil. ITA specializes in science and technology in the aerospace sector, and has been ranked as one of the top premiere engineering schools in Brazil. Dr. Kuntz has also received several technical specializations and published numerous technical articles on the subject of robotics and unmanned systems.
