Five Star Quality Care, Inc. FVE today announced the results of its 2016 Annual Meeting of Stockholders which was held earlier today as follows.

Bruce M. Gans, M.D. was re-elected as an Independent Director by a plurality of all shares voted.

Shareholders approved a nonbinding advisory resolution approving the compensation paid to the Company's named executive officers.

Shareholders ratified the appointment of RSM US LLP as Five Star's independent registered public accounting firm.
