Harris Corporation Awarded $96 Million IDIQ Contract to Supply Precision Approach Radars to US Navy, Air Force and Army

MELBOURNE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Harris Corporation HRS has received an eight-year, $96 million ceiling, single-award IDIQ contract from the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to supply precision approach radars (PAR) to the U.S. Navy, Air Force and Army. The contract was awarded during the fourth quarter of Harris' fiscal 2016.

Under the contract, Harris will supply high-performance PAR systems to help the three services upgrade their precision approach and military air traffic management capabilities.
