FAIRPORT, N.Y., May 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Manning & Napier, Inc. MN, ("Manning & Napier" or "the Company") today reported preliminary assets under management ("AUM") of $38.1 billion at April 30, 2016, compared with $34.7 billion at March 31, 2016.  AUM by investment vehicle and by portfolio are set forth in the table below. On April 30, 2016, the Company acquired a majority interest in Rainier Investment Management, LLC. The table includes approximately $3.0 billion in AUM resulting from the transaction.
