LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Korn Ferry KFY Senior Client Partner and Office Managing Director Michael Hyter has been named by leading African-American lifestyle publication Savoy Magazine as one of the "Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America."

Hyter was chosen by Savoy from a list of more than 500 professionals working in industries ranging from banking and finance to healthcare and technology. The selection committee included members of Savoy's editorial board, community leaders, and representatives from the academic and business arenas. The committee chose the 2016 "Top 100 Most Influential" award recipients based upon their exemplary professional accomplishments, community achievements and ability to inspire others.

"Mike's commitment to talent management and leading the diversity and inclusion conversation has made an incredibly positive impact on Corporate America," stated L.P. Green, II, Publisher of Savoy Magazine. "We are continually inspired by the success of his efforts and that of the other executives recognized, and we salute the corporations that support and value their diverse contributions."

In his role at Korn Ferry, the preeminent global people and organizational advisory firm, Hyter oversees the company's Executive Search, Hay Group and Futurestep divisions in the Washington, D.C., and Reston, Va. offices. "This work has been underscored by the belief that one of the most effective ways to impact an organization's bottom line is by growing and developing talent. We are honored that he was recognized with this award and that he continues to be a huge asset to our firm and to our clients."

Besides his work at Korn Ferry, Hyter is also a successful author. His most recent publication is The Power of Choice: Embracing Efficacy to Drive Your Career.
