"Today's companies are increasingly realizing the connection between their people and culture, and overall business success," said Irvine. "This means Chief HR Officers have a critical role in creating people-focused strategies that ultimately drive business outcomes. Michael, Pat, and Tom will discuss how this can be effectively accomplished – sharing with attendees strategies for developing, executing, and measuring plans that put employees first."

"One of the keys toward creating a successful employee-focused strategy is having a great company culture that keeps employees engaged and attracts the right talent to match companies' values and goals," said Pat Wadors, CHRO and the senior vice president of global talent organization at LinkedIn. "Inspiring this type of culture starts with treating employees in a manner that makes them feel respected, appreciated and human, which is what this panel will focus on, and it's what we make a point to practice every day at LinkedIn."

The panel will cover additional topics to help CHROs succeed, including the importance of nurturing employee happiness and well-being, and steps to becoming a more human-centric leader.

"WorkHuman is about creating an engaging, human-focused company culture, which has been and always will be one of JetBlue's key differentiators," said Michael Elliott, executive vice president of people at JetBlue. "Our crewmembers are critical to our success. Through the Lift recognition program and lessons learned from WorkHuman, we've been able to inspire humanity in air travel and inspire our people behind our shared values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun and Passion. Our hope is that attendees of this panel will learn similar human-focused ideas to take their company to the next level of greatness."

"I am a firm believer that people stay in their jobs for the managers," said Tom Aurelio, senior vice president of people and culture at priceline.com. "As the competition for talent intensifies, the onus is on us as senior leaders to focus on building more human-focused workplace cultures. This is the first step towards increasing employee engagement and retention and driving business forward."
