Native Inventory Tracking and Enhanced Third-Party Inventory Integrations Will Help Sellers

Austin, TX (PRWEB) March 10, 2016

ShipStation, the leading web-based e-commerce shipping solution, today announced the addition of new inventory features, including native inventory tracking and stronger integrations with third-party inventory partners. These features will help online sellers better manage their businesses, saving time and money.

ShipStation's new built-in inventory feature is focused on tracking, managing, and monitoring stock levels, allocating stock to high priority orders, and preventing out-of-stock orders from shipping. These tools give online retailers confidence in selling and shipping, knowing that their inventory levels are tracked and low volume alerts can be triggered if they fall below a certain threshold.

Going beyond their native inventory feature, ShipStation has also deepened their relationships with existing inventory partners. ShipStation can now reflect inventory levels from selling channels like Stitch Labs and ChannelAdvisor, as well as fulfillment providers like Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA). Once enabled, ShipStation can now display inventory levels for each product with information flowing directly from partner inventory systems.

"Inventory management has been one of ShipStation's most requested user features," says ShipStation's Vice President of Marketing Robert Gilbreath. "We're extremely excited to provide this solution. Based on the feedback from our early users, our inventory tools are easy, intuitive, and effective. Our inventory partners love the fact that we've made it simple for the information from their systems to flow into ShipStation as it lets them be an even more effective part of the user's workflow."

As e-commerce continues to trend towards multichannel selling, understanding and managing multiple inventory locations will be vital to the success and growth of online retailers. As always, ShipStation will continue to add user focused features and will further integrate with inventory partners to create the most efficient inventory and shipping solutions in the industry.
