VTAE, a clinical-stage biotechnology company, today announced that it has been added to the NASDAQ Biotechnology Index NBI. The addition will become effective prior to the market open on Monday, December 21, 2015. Vitae is also included in the Russell 3000® and 2000® indices.

The NASDAQ Biotechnology Index is designed to track the performance of a set of NASDAQ-listed securities that are classified as either biotechnology or pharmaceutical according to the Industry Classification Benchmark.
