Union Pacific Railroad Sustains Leadership Standing for Climate Change Transparency

OMAHA, Neb., Dec. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Union Pacific Railroad has been named a U.S. leader for disclosing quality climate change related information through CDP. Union Pacific achieved a carbon disclosure score of 99 out of a possible 100 and remains among the top 10 percent of all companies in the S&P 500 sample, securing another position on the S&P Climate Disclosure Leadership Index.

The company maintained its B rating in CDP's performance band, on an A to E scale.
