IDCC, a mobile technology research and development company, today announced that its Innovation Partners unit has entered into multiple research and development agreements with the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC) based in Pensacola, FL, a not-for-profit multidisciplinary research institute of the State University System of Florida.

The agreements are primarily focused on challenges related to mobility, security, vehicle-to-vehicle networking, vehicle-to-infrastructure communications, maps, navigation and multi-modal human machine interaction in the connected vehicle domain.
