Six Flags Entertainment Corporation SIX, the world's largest regional theme park company, is ringing in the holidays in a BIG way. The company's annual spectacle — Holiday in the Park® — featuring millions of dazzling lights, show-stopping entertainment, seasonal food offerings and thrilling roller coasters, is now expanding to a seventh park, Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, where the festival will debut on November 21. Set against a winter wonderland full of sights and sounds of the season, Holiday in the Park is a long-time guest favorite, originating at the company's flagship park, Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington 30 years ago. The festival is also celebrated at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom near San Francisco, Six Flags Mexico in Mexico City, Six Flags Over Georgia near Atlanta, and Six Flags Magic Mountain north of Los Angeles.

Among the enchanting seasonal highlights awaiting guests of all ages:

  • Spectacular lighting displays featuring more than seven million brilliant, twinkling lights that adorn rides, the midways, buildings and trees throughout the parks. The all-new Six Flags Dazzle at Discovery Kingdom is a breathtaking feast for the eyes with dancing lights illuminating the nighttime sky. Rockin' Universe at Magic Mountain offers three dancing light shows with tens of thousands of lights customized to holiday musical favorites;
  • Festive food stations where guests can decorate gingerbread cookies, roast their own s'mores over a cozy campfire, enjoy flavored coffees, and warm up with delicious soups and chili served in homemade bread bowls. Delicious hot chocolate, peppermint and mocha fudge, eggnog, festive funnel cakes and sliced turkey with cranberry sauce are among the other culinary delights;
  • Uniquely designed holiday-themed sections including Gingerbread Junction at Six Flags Great Adventure with peppermint swirl-wrapped trees, a giant gingerbread man atop the carousel and the Gumdrop Hop dance party; Mistletoe Mansion at Six Flags Over Georgia featuring dozens of mistletoes strung across the midway outside the popular Monster Mansion; and French Town at Six Flags Mexico is completely transformed with an illuminated dome covering the carousel and the fragrance of cinnamon swirl-wrapped trees all nestled under a canopy of falling snow;
  • Thousands of Christmas trees throughout the parks help deck the halls and create a joyful atmosphere. A 60-foot tall "Tree of Trees" tower at Six Flags Over Texas is built with 72 individual trees all trimmed with sparkling lights that twinkle and dance to seasonal music. A Celebration of the Season at Six Flags Great Adventure features a massive, 5-story tree in the heart of the park with a dazzling LED light show; and
  • The best in holiday entertainment also awaits park-goers. At Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the popular stage show My Christmas Card to You conjures up heart-warming memories of the holiday season. A Jolly Holiday, Snowy Nights and Jack Frost's Magical Christmas are just a few of the many park productions showcasing a wide variety of acts including acrobats, magicians and a host of talented singers and dancers.

Additional Holiday in the Park offerings include photos and meet-and-greets with Santa and Mrs. Claus, sled rides down Snow Hill (available at Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom), and nightly performances by choirs and carolers rendering time-honored yuletide melodies.
