Everest Insurance™ Announces Expansion Of its U.S. Specialty Commercial Product Portfolio

Everest Re Group, Ltd. RE announces the expansion of its U.S. specialty insurance platform, Everest National Insurance Company, with the introduction of a new dedicated Inland Marine underwriting team. Everest National will be pursuing a broad and comprehensive strategy in the implementation of its inland marine initiative, underwriting both individual risks as well as select inland marine programs. This business will be underwritten across the U.S. through underwriting teams located within its key branch locations.

Mike Warfield has been named to lead this new unit. Mike has been with Everest since 2013, previously overseeing the marketing, distribution and business development area for Everest National. Prior to joining Everest National, Mike was President of Colony Insurance Company. He is joined by Matt Bisig, Vice President and underwriting leader, who previously worked for CNA Insurance Company as the inland marine manager for the Central and Southeastern region.
