RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

ChannelAdvisor Corporation ECOM, a leading provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions that enable retailers and manufacturers to increase global sales, today announced that PerformanceParts.com is using ChannelAdvisor Marketplaces to connect online consumers with its automotive performance parts and truck accessories on Amazon, eBay Motors, Newegg and Sears. PerformanceParts.com uses ChannelAdvisor Marketplaces to list, manage and optimize product listings on each marketplace, sell internationally and monitor inventory to ensure stock levels are accurate on each site.

"After evaluating ChannelAdvisor's software, we got on board and started loading inventory through its platform right away," said Greg Griffith, PerformanceParts.com general manager. "We quickly saw the benefits. Since using ChannelAdvisor Marketplaces, we've increased our SKUs on eBay Motors by 600 percent and grown our online sales by more than 250 percent year over year."

As PerformanceParts.com's e-commerce business took off, the company began receiving a significant amount of order requests from overseas. PerformanceParts.com started using the Global Shipping Program (GSP) on eBay to ship items from its domestic warehouses and deliver them to international buyers. The company has seen a large percentage of its product sales come from Canada, Russia and the U.K.

"We started selling internationally using GSP on eBay, which made it easy to sell globally by helping us with logistics. All we had to do was supply the products and sell them," said Griffith. "EBay Motors and other marketplaces have helped us meet demand in other countries where different types of products are popular. We wouldn't have been able to successfully expand our international reach without ChannelAdvisor."

ChannelAdvisor will be at the 2015 SEMA show, taking place November 3 – 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The company's automotive e-commerce experts will be available at booth 31232 to discuss how ChannelAdvisor's multichannel platform helps automotive retailers maximize sales across marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay Motors, as well as be seen on digital marketing channels such as Google and Bing.
