WATERBURY, Conn., Oct. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Webster Financial Corporation WBS, the holding company for Webster Bank, N.A., announced today that its Board of Directors declared its quarterly cash dividend of $.23 per share on its common stock.

The dividend on the common shares will be payable November 24, 2015 to shareholders of record on November 10, 2015.

On its Series E Preferred Stock, Webster declared a quarterly cash dividend of $400.00 per share ($.40 per each depository share, 1,000 of which represent one share of Series E preferred stock), payable December 15, 2015, to shareholders of record on December 1, 2015.
