LAS VEGAS, Oct. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tableau Software DATA, a global leader in easy-to-use business analytics software, kicks off its annual Tableau Conference (TC15), today at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino and Conference Center on the iconic Las Vegas strip. TC15 provides opportunities for Tableau customers and partners to connect, network and learn. More than 100 Tableau customers will share their success stories and analytics wins. CEO Christian Chabot and Tableau developers will kick off the conference with a keynote session discussing new and exciting innovations.

Other featured keynote speakers include:

  • Astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse Tyson, the host of the TV series, "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey," and director of the Hayden Planetarium in New York.
  • Daniel Pink, the author of five books about the changing world of work, and the host of "Crowd Control," a series about undercover science intervention on the National Geographic channel.
  • Sir Ken Robinson, PhD, an internationally recognized leader in the development of creativity, innovation and human resources in education and in business.
  • Dr Hannah Fry, a lecturer in the Mathematics of Cities at UCL's Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis in London.

The conference will offer sessions for every skill level. Classroom training and certification courses are available to conference attendees. The annual Iron Viz competition will test contestants in their data dashboard prowess. Dozens of meetups, including the Data + Women event, will provide opportunities to network and learn with like-minded data professionals.

"TC15 is a widely anticipated, unifying event for our customers, partners and employees," said Elissa Fink, Chief Marketing Officer at Tableau Software. "With 10,000 people coming, this year's conference will be our biggest to date.
