Harwood Feffer LLP Announces Investigation of Rentrak Corporation

NEW YORK, Sept. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Harwood Feffer LLP (www.hfesq.com) is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of Rentrak Corporation ("Rentrak" or the "Company") RENT concerning the proposed acquisition of the Company by ComScore Inc. ("ComScore").

Under the terms of the offer, the ComScore would acquire Rentrak in a transaction valued at approximately $800 million.  Pursuant to the deal, Rentrak stockholders would receive 1.15 shares of ComScore per share Rentrak share owned, consideration worth $52.76 at present.  According to Yahoo Finance, multiple analysts have set target prices for Rentrak stock above the offer price and that the mean analyst target price for Rentrak stock is $73.50.  At least one analyst has set a target price of $100 for Rentrak shares.
