MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

NGC Software today announced that Nature USA, a provider of knit apparel and sportswear for major brands, is implementing NGC's fashion PLM, ERP, Product Testing and Shop Floor Control solutions. California-based Nature USA prides itself on being a totally vertical producer of eco-friendly and socially responsible products, from yarns to finished garments. The company manufactures its garments with a reduced impact on the environment, both offshore and at its full-package facility in Southern California.

Nature USA turned to NGC to provide an integrated solution for its apparel design and manufacturing processes. NGC's fashion PLM software will improve productivity at every stage of development, from Line Planning to Tech Packs, Digital Asset Management, Material Development, Sampling, Costing, Sourcing, and Testing and Compliance, which helps ensure compliance with CPSIA, Proposition 65 and other product safety regulations.

With NGC's fashion ERP solution, Nature USA can take advantage of key features including Customer Order Processing, EDI, Purchasing, Inventory Control for finished goods and components, Screen Printing and Embroidery, as well as core business processes such as Accounting and Invoicing. Productivity features such as Exception Management, Collaboration and Calendars are found throughout NGC's software.

NGC's Shop Floor Control system will help Nature USA manage real-time labor and production. The system optimizes on-time completions, evaluates plant workload, determines capacity needs, tracks employee performance and calculates incentive payroll.

"Nature USA produces high-quality garments while reducing the overall environmental impact, and NGC is proud to be working with such a forward-thinking, socially responsible company," said Mark Burstein, president of sales, marketing and R&D, NGC Software. "We look forward to a successful implementation at Nature USA."
