Aviat Wins New Tier 1 Carrier

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Aviat Networks, Inc. AVNW, the leading expert in microwave networking solutions, today announced that it has entered an agreement to provide microwave solutions to a Tier 1 mobile operator in the United States. A new Aviat customer, the operator will deploy CTR 8540 and CTR 8312 microwave solutions in support of its nationwide LTE rural rollout.

Aviat's high-quality products, strong technology roadmap, extensive local support and ability to deliver on time all contribute to the lowest overall total cost of ownership (TCO) and the customer's decision to select Aviat. Additional equipment approved includes ODU 600 split-mount radios and Aviat's ProVision network management system.
