Mohawk Global Logistics Supports Growth With Descartes OneView(TM) Solution and ACE Compliance

WATERLOO, Ontario, Aug. 19, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Descartes Systems Group DSGX DSG, the global leader in uniting logistics-intensive businesses in commerce, announced that Mohawk Global Logistics is using Descartes' OneView™ Forwarder Enterprise and Customs House Brokerage (CHB) solution to support its market expansion. Mohawk Global will also use Descartes OneView™ solution to submit data to additional Partner Government Agencies (PGAs) via the U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).

ACE was built to provide a centralized, single window for import and export data reporting to CBP and other agencies within the U.S. government. More than a dozen PGAs are scheduled for ACE implementation prior to the mandatory November 1, 2015 ACE entry filing deadline, including the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Food and Drug Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency,  the Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
