LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Korn Ferry KFY, the preeminent authority on leadership and talent, today announced that Debra Germaine has joined the firm as Senior Client Partner in the Technology and Digital Practice. She will be based in Korn Ferry's Boston office, working closely with clients in San Francisco.

"Debra has extensive experience in the software and hardware industries and in private equity. She has completed global assignments for C-level executives, presidents, and board members," said Doug Charles, President, Americas, Korn Ferry. "Her strong track record of success and deep understanding of diverse industries will be a wonderful asset to our team."

Earlier in her career, Ms. Germaine worked for Digital Equipment Corporation where she created and headed the in-house executive search practice. She also led the Worldwide Resource and Information Systems Operations for the company's Advanced Technology, Semiconductor, and Desktop divisions.

In 2008, Ms. Germaine was named one of BusinessWeek's World's Most Influential Headhunters. She was also profiled as a leading search consultant in The Career Makers: North America's Top Executive Recruiters, published by HarperCollins Publishers, Inc.

Ms. Germaine is an active member of several professional non-profit organizations including the Dana Farber/Jimmy Fund Top 400 Club.
