SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Meadowbrook Insurance Group, Inc. MIG ("Meadowbrook") announces that on July 6, 2015, Fosun International Limited has received the required approval from the Missouri Department of Insurance regarding the acquisition of control of Meadowbrook's insurance company subsidiary, Savers Property and Casualty Insurance Company, domiciled in the state of Missouri. As of July 6, 2015 all required insurance regulatory approvals have been received. Meadowbrook intends to complete the acquisition as promptly as possible.
