Exclusive Product Collection for Baby and Kids Launches Today on PotteryBarnKids.com

SAN FRANCISCO, June 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Pottery Barn Kids, a member of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. WSM portfolio of brands, has launched its exclusive product collaboration with American fashion designer Jenni Kayne. Drawing on Kayne's experience as a mother of two young children, the collection is a relaxed yet refined take on classic design that reflects Kayne's soulful, California-inspired aesthetic. This capsule collection, which is the first collaboration of its kind for Pottery Barn Kids and Kayne's first foray into children's home furnishings, is available now at www.potterybarnkids.com and starting tomorrow, June 12th, will be featured in Pottery Barn Kids stores in the United States, Canada and Australia.

The collection features over fifty effortlessly chic pieces for nursery, bedroom and playroom. Highlights include furniture such as a play teepee and beanbag chairs; beautifully crafted bedding including embroidered linen quilts and ditsy floral patterns; whimsical decorative accessories like pom-pom garlands, glitter letters and 3-dimensional butterflies; and animal-inspired decor including plush animal head wall mounts, stork patterned wallpaper and glowing animal motif lamps. The assortment ranges from $6 to $899 and also includes product categories such as rugs, window coverings, toys, nursery bedding and nursery essentials.

"I am thrilled to unveil this special collaboration with Pottery Barn Kids," said Jenni Kayne. "As a mother, my goal was to create items I would want in my own kids' rooms, so I approached it as if I was designing their rooms all over again. The result is a collection of classic, comfortable pieces that are beautiful, functional and perfectly blend Pottery Barn Kids' timeless design with my relaxed, laid back approach.  I can't wait to incorporate pieces from the collection into my own home."

"We are excited to introduce our first-ever design collaboration for Pottery Barn Kids with Jenni Kayne," said Sandra Stangl, President, Pottery Barn Brands. "Jenni is known for her effortlessly chic style and as a mother of two young children she knows how to create well-designed, comfortable children's spaces. Her collection for Pottery Barn Kids is a thoughtful mix of modern and vintage influences that reflects Jenni's relaxed, timeless aesthetic."

To celebrate the collection, Pottery Barn Kids will host special in-store crafting events for kids and parents on Saturday, June 20th at Pottery Barn Kids stores nationwide where kids can make a paper teepee inspired by designs from the collection. Guests who visit the Pottery Barn Kids store at The Grove in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, June 20th will have the chance to meet designer Jenni Kayne.
