NC State Student Wins Free Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for Life

On April 28, 2015, in celebration of National Superhero Day, Krispy Kreme offered its fans a chance to score the ultimate prize of Free Doughnuts for Life by posting and sharing a photo of themselves and their favorite "superhero" using #superheroselfie. Thousands rose to the Superhero Selfie Sweepstakes challenge, and Krispy Kreme is proud to announce that Breana Smallwood of Fuquay Varina, N.C. is the Grand Prize Winner of Free Krispy Kreme® Doughnuts for Life.

"My sisters are definitely my heroes," explains Ms. Smallwood of the motivation behind the winning photo. "Even though there is a decade's age difference between us, we are still very close. As Grand Prize Winner, Smallwood received a Krispy Kreme Gift Card valid for the purchase of one dozen doughnuts per month for 30 years (360 dozen) at any Krispy Kreme US location, valued at $3,500.

Ms. Smallwood plans to share her winnings with her sisters and their classmates, and use them as a sweet incentive for students at the Creedmoor, N.C. high school where she will begin working as a guidance counselor next year.

In addition to the Grand Prize, five winners from throughout the country received free Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for a Year. Each winner was gifted a punch card good for one dozen Original Glazed doughnuts per month for one year, valued at $250.
