Hershey Announces Retirement of International President Humberto P. Alfonso

HERSHEY, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

The Hershey Company HSY announced today that Humberto (Bert) P. Alfonso, 57, President, International, intends to retire from the company by the end of June. The company is working with Alfonso to ensure a seamless transition and expects to announce its succession plan at the end of the month.

"Bert has led our International business for the last two years, laying the foundation for future growth in these important markets," said John P. Bilbrey, Chairman, President and CEO, The Hershey Company. "Prior to his international leadership, Bert led our financial organization, instilling strong discipline and accountability across the organization.
