Gabelli Equity Trust Expands Investment Team

GAMCO Investors, Inc., GBL announced the appointment of Robert D. Leininger, CFA and Daniel M. Miller to the investment team of the Gabelli Equity Trust (the "Fund") effective June 1, 2015. Messrs. Leininger and Miller join Mario J. Gabelli, who has been the portfolio manager of the Fund since its launch on August 21, 1986, and Kevin V. Dreyer and Christopher J. Marangi, who joined the portfolio management team on July 1, 2013.

Bob joined Gabelli in 1993 as a security analyst covering the beverage industry after earning his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Bob rejoined Gabelli in 2010. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Financial Analyst Society of Philadelphia. Bob is a magna cum laude graduate of Amherst College with a degree in Economics. Since September 27, 2010, Bob has been a Portfolio Manager of the Gabelli Dividend and Income Trust Inc. GDV.

Dan has been the portfolio manager of the Gabelli Focus Five Fund since inception of the investment strategy on January 1, 2012. Dan graduated magna cum laude with a degree in finance from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
