General Dynamics NASSCO-Norfolk Awarded $36 Million for USS Mitscher Maintenance and Modification

NORFOLK, Va., May 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- General Dynamics NASSCO, a business unit of General Dynamics GD, has been awarded a $36.4 million contract for maintenance, modernization, and repair of the USS Mitscher (DDG 57).

The work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by March 2016. The contract has a total potential value of $40 million if all options are exercised.
