First Republic Bank Announces Pricing Of $100 Million Series F Preferred Stock Offering

SAN FRANCISCO, May 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- First Republic Bank ("First Republic") FRC, a leading private bank and wealth management company, today announced the pricing of a public offering of 4,000,000 depositary shares, each representing a 1/40th interest in a share of its 5.70% Noncumulative Perpetual Series F Preferred Stock, at a public offering price of $25.00 per depositary share. First Republic has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 600,000 depositary shares from First Republic. The offering is expected to close on May 27, 2015, subject to customary closing conditions.

First Republic expects to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include, among other things, funding loans or purchasing investment securities for its portfolio.
