TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Neutra Corp. NTRR will complete market testing this week on a new suite of products that could help cannabis growers avoid Colorado's crackdown on pesticides.

A Colorado state Senate panel voted unanimously last week to give the state's Department of Agriculture the funds necessary to step up pesticide enforcement in the cannabis sector. Although the state already outlines which chemicals commercial growers may use on their crops, testing backlogs have kept requirements from being implemented.

Now, the state is changing its policy to eliminate that backlog, and NTRR will be ready with new products to help growers comply with state regulations, said NTRR CEO Chris Brown.

"We are very much looking forward to working with growers to help them produce top-notch crops that will comply with all of the state's shifting requirements," Brown said. "Alongside our joint venture partner, Surface to Air Solutions (S2O2), NTRR is bringing to market badly-needed pesticide alternatives that will help keep plants and surfaces free from contamination."

Last month, S2O2 submitted its products to be tested by a third-party lab at the indoor growing operations run by top producers DANK Dispensaries and Denver Consulting Group. By verifying these products' use in eliminating contaminants from cannabis, the joint venture plans to take the first step toward making them industry-standard across the entire regulated sector.

NTRR formed the joint venture with S2O2 last year to market solutions to growers that are concerned about contamination of their crops by microbes, molds, fungus and other pests.
