Texas Virtual Academy Announces 2015 - 2016 Open Enrollment Period

LEWISVILLE, Texas, April 1, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Texas Virtual Academy, a ResponsiveEd® public online charter school serving students in grades 3-12 announced today it has opened enrollment for families looking to attend in the 2015 – 2016 school year.

The school is a full-time, tuition-free option available to students across the state of Texas. Students who enroll in TXVA receive an individualized education experience designed to let them discover the learning style that works best for them.  Lessons are delivered online using the award-winning K¹² curriculum, and instructional materials are shipped directly to the student's home.  

TXVA provides courses in language arts/English, math, science, history, world languages, art and music, as well as elective and Advanced Placement ® courses for high school students, all of which are supported by Texas-certified teachers.  In addition to the challenging and robust academic program, the school offers an active, supportive school community and a range of extracurricular activities. Texas Virtual Academy is fully-accredited by the Texas Education Agency and the Southern Association of College and Schools Council and students graduate with a diploma.
