NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Barnes & Noble, Inc. BKS, the nation's largest retail bookseller and the leading retailer of content, digital media and educational products, today announced its April 2015 lineup of free Storytime events for children and families, all designed to celebrate the joy of reading.

The month kicks off with the I Wish You More Storytime on Saturday, April 11, at 11 a.m. The Barnes & Noble Picture Book of the Month selection, the company's choice of the most engaging and entertaining stories, features Amy Krouse Rosenthal's and illustrator Tom Lichtenheld's picture book in April. Whether celebrating life's joyous milestones, sharing words of encouragement, or observing the wonder of everyday moments, this sweet and uplifting book is perfect for wishers of every age.

Activities and a social media giveaway, sponsored by Chronicle Books, are part of the fun. To participate in the #IWishYouMore Twitter Giveaway, customers can simply fill in the blanks and tweet "#IWishYouMore (blank) than (blank)" with hashtags #BNStorytime & #IWishYouMore. Three winners, selected by April 13, will have their tweets illustrated by Tom Lichtenheld. Winners will be announced on Chronicle's social media channels and the Lichtenheld illustrations will be mailed to the winners' homes.

Fans of the book can meet author Amy Krouse Rosenthal for a special Storytime at the Barnes & Noble store located at 1441 West Webster Avenue in Chicago, IL, on April 11, at 11 a.m. For more information, please contact Edwin Tucker, Community Business Development Manager, at (773) 871-3825.
