ManTech Awarded $10.9 Million Contract to Provide IT Services in Support of DoD's Health Data Exchange Initiatives

FAIRFAX, Va., March 20, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Department of the Interior has awarded ManTech International Corporation MANT a task order under ManTech's General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedule 70 contract to provide IT services in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Medical Information Exchange (DMIX) Program Management Office. The task order has a 1-year base period of performance and two 6-month option periods, with a value of $10.9 million.

Under this task order, ManTech will provide software analysis, design, development, and testing and implementation to further consolidate the DoD health community's legacy data sharing initiatives and expand the capabilities of the existing DMIX systems. The goal of the program is to streamline existing capabilities into a single, reliable data sharing mechanism, while reducing redundancy and continuing to support the secure exchange of standardized health data with all partners.
