WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Harris Corporation HRS has been awarded a contract by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) with a potential value of $450 million to provide systems engineering and program management services for the agency's Crisis Management System (CMS). The single-award IDIQ contract has a one-year base and nine one-year options.

The CMS provides government leaders with video and voice communications, powered by a secure, high-performance network. This enables senior U.S. government officials to exchange high-interest, time-sensitive information for critical decision making during emergency situations.
