Huaneng Power International, Inc. Announces Quarterly Results

Huaneng Power International, Inc.

today announced its unaudited results for the nine months ended September 30, 2010. Under the PRC Accounting Standards, for the first three quarters of 2010, the Company realized consolidated operating revenues of RMB76.792 billion, representing an increase of 35.49% over the same period last year. Net profit attributable to equity holders of the Company amounted to RMB3.146 billion, representing a decrease of 23.83% over the same period last year, mainly due to the rising fuel prices.
