NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Global Finance magazine has named Bank of America Merrill Lynch Best Bank for Cash Management in North America for the fifth consecutive year. The publication also named the firm Best Bank for Liquidity Management in North America for the fourth straight year, and Best Treasury & Cash Management Provider in the United States, an inaugural category.

Global Finance editors considered input from industry analysts and a poll of corporate readers in selecting BofA Merrill as best in these categories. Factors considered included volume, market share, customer service, investment in the business and examples of solutions that delivered significant benefits for clients.

BofA Merrill Global Transaction Services (GTS) executives offered these comments on each award:

Best Bank for Cash Management – North America

"We are honored with this recognition of consistent success in North America. In 2015, clients are managing both growing and slowing economies, regulatory actions and volatile currency markets. Our opportunity is to provide our clients with the trusted advice and tools they need to navigate in today's ‘new normal' financial environment." – Dub Newman, head of North America GTS

Best Bank for Liquidity Management – North America

"The liquidity award from Global Finance affirms our strategy of working across our broad organization to bring our whole firm to our clients in an integrated manner. One particular example in the past year were the numerous webcasts we offered to our clients to help educate them about the implications of Basel III and other new regulations and impacts across the whole client relationship." – Greg Kavanaugh, head of Global Liquidity Investment Solutions and Revenue Management

Best Treasury & Cash Management Provider – United States

"Many of our U.S.-based clients are expanding internationally, and we are able to leverage our extensive global footprint covering more than 40 countries and 140 currencies to help them gain footing in new financial landscapes. We believe this international strength was a key factor in winning the U.S. award." – Galen Robbins, head of GTS for Global Commercial Banking, Business Banking and Small Business
