Amdocs Wins International Quality Innovation of the Year Award for Amdocs BEAT(TM) - a Software-Based Testing Best-Practices Framework

LOUIS, Feb. 12, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Amdocs DOX, the leading provider of customer experience solutions, today announced that its testing services practice has won the 2014 international Quality Innovation of the Year Award for its Amdocs BEAT^TM framework, a cloud-enabled, analytics-driven software platform consolidating the company's testing best-practice methodologies and tools. The award, in its eighth year, is organized by the Finnish Quality Association, Laatukeskus Excellence Finland, in coordination with other national quality organizations.

Further demonstrating Amdocs' innovation in this space, Amdocs also announced today the addition of two new tools to Amdocs BEAT^TM, addressing the need for innovative mobile testing environments and control tools as service providers look to introduce apps faster while ensuring a high-quality customer experience. The new tools are:

• The Amdocs Mobile Quality Lab: A virtual, cloud-based testing environment which allows service providers to test new mobile offerings and Wi-Fi strategies remotely, on a wide variety of mobile devices and operating systems.
• The Amdocs Mobile Report Center: Allows service provider stakeholders real-time visibility on their mobile devices into actual versus planned execution status of all testing projects underway, across any of the service provider's lines of business.
