Intuit Inc. INTU, maker of Intuit TurboTax Personal Pro, kicked off tax season with local sports radio talk show, The Musers.

It's important for taxpayers to start thinking about their taxes earlier rather than later because April 16 is here before you know it,” said Intuit Spokesperson, Amy Engler.

The IRS opened efile today – marking the official start of tax season. In 2014, individuals or their tax preparers electronically filed, or efiled, over 122 million income tax returns.
